Cycling Mekong Delta Vietnam: Saigon – CanTho

Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be – Cycling distance 32 km (lunch, dinner)

We will pick you up at your hotel by a/c comfortable vehicle and drive 2 hours to My Tho pier for boat ride on the upper Mekong  River, walk on the island to visit the local home, enjoy seasonal juicy fruits and contemplate the picturesque landscape of palm trees along when taking a rowing boat along canals. After lunch break, we start our cycling 3 hours under the shady trees of surrounding fruit gardens, canals to Cai Be local boat pier, and take a local boat transfer to the host family for night homestay on the island.

Day 2: Cai Be – Can Tho – Cycling distance 50km (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After having breakfast at the host family, you will cycle 4km to the ferry, and cross Cai Be for Vinh Long riding through and pass rice field, brick kiln, and visit the pottery kiln en-route. Have lunch break and take support vehicle  to Can Tho city for the night.

Day 3: Can Tho – Sai Gon – Cycling distance (breakfast, lunch)

Early morning, you will take a motorized boat to Cai Rang floating market and boat along canals to visit local business makings if desire such as rice paper making work-shop and rice mill, before cycling 2 hours under shade of orchard surrounding. We will head back to Sai Gon after lunch break.
