One of the destination for cycling Vietnam in the south of Vietnam is Cycling Cat Tien National Park up to Dalat, and down hill to Nha Trang coast for 4 days!
Day 1: Saigon – Cat Tien National Park (including Lunch, dinner).
We will leave Saigon for Cat Tien National Park by comfortable car with the distance of 150 km in 3 hours drive. You will have a chance to see beautiful robber tree plantation, nice farmings at the volcanic area such as coffee, pepper, tabaco farming en-route. On arrival, we will cross the Dong Nai River and keep going to the park’s reception for check in procession.
After lunch break, at 13:30 We start an 7-km hike into a trail where we will have an opportunity to see planty of gigantic trees such as Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia tree, Dipterocarpus, Tetrameles nudiflora tree, Cycas rumphii tree, Ancistrolandus tectorius tree, and much more.
We will go on an open-aired jeep for wild life night spotting at 8pm to the one of the buffer zone. What would you see on this spotting? You would see sampar deers, common palm civets, wild boars, and pygmy loris. We will then stay overnight at the park centre.
Day 2: Cat Tien National Park – Da Lat Highlands (including breakfast, and lunch).
We will go on an open-aired jeep about 8 km to the junction where we will trek 5 km to the Crocodile Lake Station. Following by a rest at the Lake’s watch tower for panoramic view of the Lake, the surroundings, boat ride on the Lake, and the wild life experience, we are on our trekking back to the meeting point juntion where we have a jeep drive us back to our lodge.
After checking out, we have lunch break before taking the ferry crossing the river to the other side for our transport to Da Lat highlands.
You will, en-route, see mulberry, tea and coffee plantations along the Highway 20. If interest, you will call on the Pongour waterfalls before heading up and over the Pass to Da Lat for our overnight stay.
Day 3: Dalat – Surroundings (including breakfast)
Option 1:
We spend the day sightseeing around the city. We visit HangNga (a hotel known as “Crazy house”, the BaoDai Summer Palace (where BaoDai vacationed), the Old French
French Colonial Railway, the Dalat Flower Garden, the Truc Lam Pagoda, the Tuyen Lam reservoir and other sights possible on journey.
Option 2: We visit Lat village, and trek up Lang Bian mountain at 2100 m above sea level for peak breathtaking views await, consisting of great overviews of Dankia Lake as well as whole view of Dalat city. It’s a moderate 5-hours hike up and return.
Option 3: We will spend the day for a mountain bike.
Option 4: We will spend the day for Canyoning, or rock climbing, or abseiling
We will stay overnight in Da Lat for gaining energy for the next.
Day 4: Da Lat – Nha Trang (including breakfast)
After sightseeing around Da Lat, We will keep travelling 4 hours up to summit of the pass before heading down to the coast of Nha Trang for staying overnight. Our services end at your hotel.
